Planting Seeds, Harvesting Energy

There is something magic in understanding the clear and moral responsibility that we have towards the generations that will inhabit our world in a not too distant future.

Nature has provided all the answers we have needed, enabling us to arrive today to a position from where we can resolve the challenges of Poverty, Unemployment, Health, and protection to our Environment.

From the land and for the land, is the vision that guides our commitment to "Planting seeds, Harvesting Energy".

There are two ways of achieving that: through ETHANOL Production or VEGETABLE OILS.

Biofuels Resource

At ARDCO we believe in creating value and not in creating conflict. Using resources that are not considered FOOD STAPLES, we have set ourselves to create ENERGY from
Biological and Environmentally friendly plants.

Biodiesel is the name of a clean burning alternative fuel produced from renewable, biological \ resources. Biodiesel contains no petroleum, but it can be blended at any level

with petroleum diesel to create a Biodiesel blend. It can be used in compression ignition (diesel) engines with no major modifications. Biodiesel is simple to use, biodegradable, nontoxic, and essentially free of sulfur and aromatics.

One of a number of potential non-food feed-stocks from which ARDCO will produce Bio-Diesel is a tropical and sub-tropical plant called Jatropha. The ETHANOL will come from Sour Cassava or YUCA.

ARDCO has come to an Investment and Development agreement with the CORPOTAYRONA, entity of the Magdalena Department's Government in Colombia. CORPOTAYRONA, a management and consulting company signed an M of U with ARDCO for the development of an initial 50,000 hectare Jatropha plantation. The Group has initiated the incorporation of the small farmers into Co-Operatives and a 50 year lease with the land owners, organizing local licenses, and providing initial logistics for the project.

CORPOTAYRONA will be responsible to ensure ARDCO has all of the appropriate permits to form a company and then conduct Jatropha cultivation inside the sovereign country of Colombia. This will be ratified in Santa Marta in October.

Colombia is considered a prime growing location for Jatropha and has access to sea shipping that will allow inexpensive transport of ARDCO'S Jatropha oil around the world.

When the plantation reaches maturity, the 100 million Jatropha trees on the plantation will conservatively produce 100 million gallons of Jatropha oil annually. Also, the 50,000 hectare plantation will create at least 10,000 jobs initially for the local community and create a new infrastructure that is desperately needed for the local economy.
